Call for Participants: Strengthening Voices for a Just Transition

Exciting news! The Climate Change Task Force and Kairos Canada invite you to be part of our 'Strengthening Voices for a Just Transition' project. This project aims to nurture a cohort of up to 12 changemakers to help guide us through the next stages of the energy transition, and strengthen just transition policies and programs with principles from Indigenous peoples, young people, and those most affected by the climate crisis. We're searching for enthusiastic young adults (18-30) from Unama’ki/Cape Breton Island to:

• Engage in a thought-provoking one-day community dialogue about local visions for a 'just transition'
• Connect with peers nationwide in an engaging online learning community, featuring guest speakers and skill-building activities
• Make a difference! With Kairos' support, share your vision for change with decision-makers at all levels.
